The move was a brave one, but it has certainly been successful for Sky Airline.

It’s certainly exciting times for Sky Airline. In the pipeline are many major projects. The fleet will be renewed with the addition of 21 brand new Airbus A320neos. These new planes bring the benefit of a greater capacity, so in turn there’s an opportunity to look into new routes, which is something Paulmann confirms will be explored. A move beyond their Santiago base to create centres in other Latin American cities is also on the cards, Paulmann reveals.

Holger Paulmann is enthusiastic about moving the business into other Latin American countries and states that the airline is already looking for financial partners to invest in the expansion. His belief is that the airline’s track record will speak for itself when in talks with any potential partners. Additionally, there may be opportunities to acquire small local airlines and Paulmann fully believes that these two models for growth can exist side by side.

The impact of reduced airport charges and taxes helps the industry to be more competitive, and increased levels of safety across all continents is also a highly pertinent issue.
